Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of our community. Every volunteer brings with them a different background and skill set but they all share an enthusiasm for cultural immersion and exchange as well as a desire to effect a positive change on our students, teachers, and local communities.

An effort, a small as spending time helping others, can go a long way in bringing change in lives of many. We provide you with the opportunity to participate in our projects dealing with child Education , health, village development, Research, Tours, women empowerment and many more. Those who want to discover something new and are willing to share his or her knowledge and experience can plan a volunteer tour to India with us. We welcome every one to join this adventure.

    FURTHER INFORMATION

    The volunteer program starts on the 1st and 15th of every month .you can choose to be a volunteer in any area such as Teaching English, mathematics, yoga, health education, village development, child care, environment awareness, first aid, women empowerment, with varied duration ranging from 1weeks to 6 months.

    Additional charge of $100 will be applicable for all applicants as processing fee

    PROGRAM FEE INCLUDES

      1. Personal pickup and drop at Cochin Airport by our staff.
      2. Accommodation in twin sharing rooms (home stay) Additional charge of $ 80 if required independent room.
      3. Food (homely food) veg /Nonveg –three times a day -Tea/ coffee, Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
      4. Facilities-TV, DVD & internet.
      5. 24 hours Emergency support.
      6. All transport between project locations and the camp.
      7. Materials required for activities during the volunteering period.
      8. A trained team leader for assistances.
      9. Cultural workshops such as Indian dancing, dressing, cooking, ayurvedic massages, yoga, henna etc
      10. Free time to explore local area and Hyderabad city day tour.
      11. Help to arrange independent excursions.
      12. Visa & flight ticket assistance.

      2. Visa charges
      3. Vaccinations
      4. Travel insurance
      5. Personal Telephone calls
      6. Other personal expenses

      HOW CAN YOU JOIN

      1. Download the application form/apply online
      2. If your application status is conformed we send you an email asking you to deposit $100 as application processing fee directly to our bank in India/western union money transfer. Processing fee is non refundable. We have limited number of placements so it is essential for you to secure it.
      3. After receiving the processing fee, we will send you a written confirmation of your placement with advice to pay the remaining portion of your program fee .This fee you have to pay at least 15 days prior to your arrival date. • Once we receive your final payment we will send you information about your program, cultural sensitivity, safety, travel tips, things to bring etc.
